Installation
Do I need tile experience to use Goof Proof tools?
No. Every kit includes illustrated, step-by-step instructions and we provide install videos for each system. Our tools are engineered specifically to give first-timers professional, repeatable results.
What slope do the sloping systems create?
Pre-Pitch and Quick-Pitch both establish the industry-standard 1/4″ per foot slope to the drain, which meets code and ensures proper drainage with no ponding.
Can your tools be used with custom-shaped showers?
Yes. Our systems are designed to adjust for both standard and custom pan sizes and shapes, including round and rectangular configurations.

Are your products compatible with my waterproofing system?
Our tools work with traditional pan-liner (mud bed) builds as well as modern sheet- and liquid-membrane systems. The Estimator on our Resources page helps you confirm the right tools for your specific method.
How do I know how much cement I'll need?
Use the Estimator worksheets on our Resources page. Enter your pan dimensions and it calculates the tools and bags of cement required for the job.
